good start on "bringing down the house".....and you were right..."cradle" actually has a fighting chance vs "tears"......although these are still iffy,you are absolutely something special....always right in the ballpark....
I can't believe I bought Tears at -1 million when I could have gotten it at + 1/2 a few days later. Looks like we are both going to lose this one! It didn't have a very strong Saturday showing... looks like it will win by around 800,000, not sure though. Bringing Down the House was a bit of a shocker to me with the 30 mil+ weekend, did you see that one coming? Dreamcatcher doesn't have a chance in hell, although it does look like it might be a good movie.
Estimate is 17.2M, but that leaves plenty of room for change (more likely a slight bump up), estimates to actuals can mean changes of even 1M so you still have a shot at your bet. I got +1M on Cradle as I posted in answer to your posts way back when, but I know others got -1/2. I am still not sure that either of the Cradle bets will win, but obviously the +1M has a better chance. Small leans like this will lose some, and I hate that anyone lost money betting it.
Oren1, I just mentioned to sphincter in passing that I liked Bringing Down the House. I knew House had a lot of upside (and was tracking well), but I didn't see it doing this well. I thought 25M would be quite nice for it.
